FAQ's

Are you a franchise?

No, we are non-franchise NZ family owned & run business.

What are the conditions for getting a free lawn mow?

They’re not really conditions, all we ask is that you remove any dog poo, rubbish, and other items from your lawn before we come over.

If I have an overgrown lawn, do I still qualify for a free mow?

Yes and no. If your lawn hasn’t been mown for 3 or 4 weeks, our manager will come and assess your property. He will decide whether or not it’s a simple mow or not. If we are unable to give you our standard free mow, our manager will have a no obligation chat with you outlining the options.

Why can’t you tell us what time you will arrive?

There are many reasons for this. The main reason for this is that we don’t want to upset our clients by saying a time and then not being able to make it because of traffic, roadworks or another job being delayed. We will typically complete your service sometime between 9am & 4pm. The exception to this is if we are rained off and in that case we will send a text to affected clients, advising them that we will mow the next day.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, unlike some other operators, we have public liability insurance. This means that any damage that may be caused while we’re mowing your lawn (there are many things that could happen) you can have piece of mind that you will be covered.

If I have any questions and/or concerns, should I ask the lawn mowing operator who comes to my house?

No. Their job is to mow your lawn as quickly and effectively as possible, you stopping them will only cause delays. If you have any questions or queries, please phone or text or manager Mark on 027 245 9606 or email him on mark@bwlawns.co.nz

Why are you one of the fastest growing lawn mowing businesses in Hamilton?

Ask our clients.

What is a ‘Jungle Job’?

It’s where your lawn is too overgrown to be tamed with a standard mow. For Jungle Jobs we do a combination of scrub cutting and mowing to bring your grass back to a beautiful, trimmed lawn.
